About XP resets

No one on the [>NF<] Server staff is allowed to reset a player's XP, not even me. If a player wishes to reset his XP, he must issue the !resetmyxp command himself. In extreme cases, when I want to punish a player and have his XP reset, I will ban him for 31 days so the XP will be automatically reset after the 30th day. Referees are only allowed to issue bans for up to 3 days.

If your XP has been reset, make sure, and I mean 100% absolutely sure, that you haven't done one or more of the following:

1 - You haven't issued a !resetmyxp command.

2 - You haven't created a new etkey file, from which your PB GUID is computed, because your XP is linked to your PB GUID, and your PB GUID will change if your etkey file is replaced or corrupted.

3 - You haven't spent more than 30 days without connecting to the server.

All players should have backup copies of their etkey files, which are stored in the etmain directory. You can check your PB GUID by issuing the command /pb_myguid on the console. You can dump the console output to a text file using the command /condump filename.txt. The text file will be created in the jaymod directory.

After checking that none of the situations described above happened, you may send me a PM (private message) here on the forums asking me to restore your XP. I make at least one backup of the players database every month, so I might be able to restore your XP to the state of the last database backup. You must inform me your current PB GUID and it will be checked against your PB GUID in the database backup. If the GUID's don't match, then you must have done one of the things I said you should be absolutely sure you hadn't done.

If I find out that you fucked up your XP yourself by doing one of the things listed above, and yet you PM'd me asking me to restore your XP, you will experience The Sacred Emperor's WRATH.
