My little brother accidently did a system recovery on my computer, setting it back to how it was when it was first bought. I installed ET again, but i had lost all my files, and when i joined NF, my xp was zero, when before the accident i was a colonel. Is there any way for u to boost up my xp back to the way it was before the system recovery?

To restore a player's XP, the following steps would have to be followed:

1 - The player would need to supply me his old and his new PB GUID.
2 - I'd have to stop the server to download the player database file.
3 - I'd have to do a careful edit on the player database file to update the PB GUID on that player's record.
4 - I'd have to upload the new database file to the server and only then restart it.

As you see, it's a troublesome procedure, a lot of work for me, and a nuisance to the players that might be on the server, which will have to remain offline while I make the changes. Besides, there's no way I can be 100% sure that the player claiming to be the owner of the previous PB GUID to which the XP and skills is associated is indeed its owner. So, I've decided not to accept these requests anymore.

A player's XP and skills is associated to the player's PB GUID (PunkBuster Game User ID), a 32-character sequence generated from a file named etkey which resides in the etmain directory in the game installation. Players should always backup this file, so they won't lose their PB GUID's (and therefore their XP's and skills) in case they need to do a clean install of the game or the OS - all it would take to restore the PB GUID would be to copy the saved etkey file back to the etmain directory.

That text is not mine, SpeedDemon copied it from another server's site. Like I said, I don't restore XP's.

I will try to find out how Jaymod and N!tmot encode that data... it's not like XP = xxxx, etc., it's a string like h6Jdd79rruF5rmj43i (...). If I manage to get that info I can write a prog to convert it, if not, everybody's XP and skills will be reset.

That is of course stored on the server only, otherwise players would be able to alter it...
