Rumple's Theme Song

#1

Post by Pedro-NF » 12 Jul 2011, 01:44

After years of hard deliberation, I've finally decided on what Rumple's theme song should be! It's Mean Machine, from one of my favorite The Cramps albums, Flamejob (1994).

The woman on the cover is guitarist Poison Ivy, wife of vocalist Lux Interior, who recently passed away. There are rumors that Rumple is in fact Poison Ivy, but that's still unconfirmed.

This video is not an official clip for the song. The scenes are from the movie Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965), which fit in perfectly.

Haaaa... (trying hard to laugh). No, it's because they made some albums inspired by old B horror movies, so it's cramps meaning "fear cramps".

By the way, with songs like "Let's Get F*cked Up", "Sado County Auto Show", "Naked Girl Falling Down the Stairs" and "Swing the Big Eyed Rabbit", besides, of course, my longest serving staff member's theme song, Flamejob (1994) is an unmissable album.

I knew some fucker (probably you or jakevag) would come up with this, so before using that expression I first googled it to see if I was going to be the first one:

1 - The expression successfully conveyed what I was trying too explain.

2 - It doesn't matter who else used the expression, just that it has been used before.

3 - The omission of the line break was clearly an attempt by Google to sabotage me.

4 - Because of your insistence and inevitable failure at trying to expose a mistake by The Sacred Emperor, you will join jakevag in the IHC.

I was going to leave this one alone. But......my name keeps coming up. So, Fear Cramps? I suppose that a pussy could get "fear cramps" but a macho?, I think Not!!

What the name "The Cramps" is actually refering to is Lux's fear of Poison's time of the month. "I fear her when she has the cramps and you should too" This was reduced to "fear (her) cramps" , obviously.

As for your IHC:

This is a sharp Medicine, but it is a Physician for all diseases and miseries

Sir Walter Raleigh upon inspection of the axe that would beheaded him.

His "palsied" hand still gets more action in real life than you do. Your jealousy is showing.
